What you need to be considered:
- Must be currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a post-secondary program
- A strong interest in publishing and media
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications
If you are applying for a design, video or digital publishing opportunity, strong abilities in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, HTML, CSS, Adobe Premiere and Dreamweaver are required.

The program will run five days a week, on a full-time basis, from Tuesday, May 1st, 2018 to Friday, August 31st, 2018. The internships are based in Toronto and are paid an honorarium of $2100 per month (minus applicable taxes).
Interns may be placed in the following areas:
You will join one of our consumer or business-to-business publications and be given the opportunity to contribute story ideas and write web content, short articles or sidebars. You’ll also be fact-checking, image sourcing and building online articles.
You will be placed with one of our consumer or business-to-business brands and will assist with researching prospective clients, preparing media kits and client presentations, and sales reporting. You may also have the opportunity to participate in new business development in an integrated and multiplatform environment.
You will work closely with the art department at a consumer or business-to-business magazine. Interns may be asked to design pages for the print and tablet editions, or in-house advertisements.
You will work closely with our in-house video unit, heavily involved in pre-production through to post-production on various projects for different brands. Ability to shoot on DSLR cameras and edit video using Adobe Premiere is essential. Interns must have their own equipment and experience using it. Some travel may be required. This area is behind the scenes and is not to be confused with anchoring/hosting.
